愛 (Love)

I dare not touch, a hair upon your head.
Or your skin that falls like rain.
Into my arms I dream you would tumble.
Kissing your lips that welcome me like a traveller’s light.
Burning out of the darkness.
Threatening sweet cherry deliverance.
I would peal back your skull and dive into that sea of thoughts.
Swimming with you in circles.
Hand in hand on a celestial ocean of knowing.
To know you. To touch you.
To take the pain you feel and burn it within my own bones.
I place this pedestal only for you.
Keeping you safe and aloft, closer to the heavens.
Where you belong.

      • no – your heart gets crushed — your entire being — someone who you loved and believed in — isn’t at all what you thought — so not only do you loose them — you also loose trust in your own perceptions. Like you are the word’s stupidest person ever — So yah beware of pedestals — It is worse than a broken heart — that is merely rejection — a crushed heart — that takes a great deal of strength – to get your heart back in working order.

      • If ever i believe. The heart carries on, but pieces missing, bruised and a little corroded in parts. Pedestals are never what they are cracked up to be…unless you need something from the top cupboard 🙂

      • no the heart becomes whole again and healthy — sometimes stronger — but sometimes not — it depends heal thyself — but best not to be crushed in the first place — beware of pedestals — you don’t even want to be on one either — cause if you fall — you might crush someone you care about too …. use a step stool for the cupboard. 😉
